Fitting room confessions.
Trying on a cropped polka-dot sweater and tangerine wide-leg trousers from Zara. Whatchyall think??

Classic looks get updated with futuristic and luxurious additions in all manner of metallics. An everyday sandal from Zara (of course) paired with teal denim from Victoria Beckham. On a side note, Victoria’s denim has got to be hands-down the best fitting jeans I have ever tried on/owned. ALSO, they’re extremely long which is a rarity and a troublesome topic for a long-legged gal like myself.
How to wear the “Bralette”: Make sure to wear anything high-waisted and preferably something over it, such as a vest or blazer. If you go for a lace bralette, make sure nothing else is lace, or you’ll end up looking like you have lingerie on. Opt for looser fit articles of clothing to avoid looking scandalous.

A 24hr stop to NYC was much needed as was a hearty breakfast at one of my favorite spots, Café Gitane. Their avocado toast is THE best along with their orange blossom waffles!! I’m salivating as I type…
